White House is a spacious holiday home with plenty of room to accommodate larger groups or multiple families. The house is beautifully presented throughout and offers some of the best views in Croyde and surrounding countryside, particularly from the beautifully manicured garden, which extends backward from the house over multiple levels.
As you enter this large home, you are welcomed by the cavernous lounge to the left. The lounge is L-shaped, breaking it into 2 separate seating areas. There is ample plush seating with 3 x sofas and the room is washed with light from multiple windows around the room. For your entertainment, there is broadband (Wi-Fi), TV, DVD Player and Music Centre. All of the latter can be enjoyed while nestling on the sofa’s with a glass of red wine and the warmth and comfort of the crackling wood burner.
To the rear of the lounge and through double French doors is the large dining room. From here you have access to both the kitchen and through double doors; to the garden.
The kitchen is modern and airy, complete with bar-counter breakfast table and all the features one would expect, including a dish washer & oven with separate grill. Your cooking experience will be complimented by the spectacular views over the garden.
There is a separate utility room complete with an addition fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and clothes airer.
For your convenience there is also a WC downstairs.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1, 2 & 3 all contain large double beds, with the master bedroom having its’ own en-suite shower room. All of the rooms have ample cupboard, drawers and side tables and all enjoy views over Croyde and the countryside.
Bedroom 4 contains bunks, which is perfect for young children.
There is a family bathroom upstairs with bath, basin and electric shower over, while next door is a separate WC.
The exterior garden of the White House is to be seen! Landscaped and manicured over many levels, it is a ‘garden lover’s’ delight. There is a paved area reached from the dining room, complete with table, chairs and parasol, while further up the garden is another seating area with kettle barbeque. Up yet another level and to the rear of the garden is a gorgeous ‘Wendy House’, beautifully kitted out for the children to enjoy.
Whether you want to enjoy the beaches of Croyde, Putsborough or Woolacombe or the surrounding stunning countryside, the White House is your perfect base.
