Woolacombe is a seaside resort on the coast of North Devon, which lies at the mouth of a valley (or combe). The beach is 2.5 miles long, sandy and gently sloping with Blue Flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. It is a popular destination for surfing and there are many establishments offering tuition and equipment hire. The waves are gentle when the tide is out and are more vigorous when the tide is in. Numerous times has Woolacombe Beach been ranked in the world's top ten beaches.
From the entrance porch you will find a handy storage space, leading into a spacious hall with dining table to seat 6 comfortably. High ceilings are a feature of this area with modern archway to the very well-equipped kitchen. The theme throughout is beach, surf, relax.
Once in the kitchen, you will find all the modern conveniences required for a relaxing holiday, including double oven, separate gas hob, microwave, washing machine, under-counter fridge and freezer, iron (and ironing board) as well as a clothes dryer.
The stylish sitting room has two large settees to seat 6 comfortably with electric fireplace for those cozy evenings. There is also TV with freesat and DVD/CD player . This room is tastefully decorated and also boasts a large coffee table and stereo system.
Sleeping accommodation is made up of two bedrooms to sleep 5. The Ist Double bedroom houses a king-sized double bed, single bed as well as a static cot. There is a flat screen TV/DVD player with Playstation 2 for late night viewing or gaming. Master bedroom two has another king-sized double bed, decorated in calming surrounds.
The bathroom, with slate floor tiles, has a full-sized bath with shower-over, WC and hand basin.
Access to the communal lawn area is in front of the property, where a table and garden chairs are provided, with BBQ available on request.
