The Nook; situated just to the edge of the village of Braunton, (Britain’s largest village), where one is spoilt for choice and with direct routes to all the tourist hotspots and also just a leisurely amble from the local shops, pubs and restaurants, but also within easy reach of North Devon's magnificent coastline and lovely beaches.
A few minutes outside the village are the Braunton Burrows, (historic site of D-Day Landing preparations), and where one can walk for hours through these majestic dunes. A little further on is the Blue Flag Beaches of Saunton and Croyde - The former, world-renowned for its surf.
Following the alternate route out of the village, Blue Flag Woolacombe Beach is just over the hill.
Further along the coast, you will be spoilt for choice; what with historic villages, heritage sights, golf courses, coast paths and the North Devon cliff line, your biggest difficulty will be in what to do first!

Tastefully furnished to a high standard throughout. There is a spacious lounge/dining room with colour TV, DVD with CD player. Electric wood burning effect stove and two leather upholstered sofas (of which one folds out to become a double sleeper sofa) create a very cosy atmosphere. Dining table and six chairs.
Archway to modern, well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher as well as all required equipment.
Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Downstairs cloakroom with WC and washbasin.
Upstairs there are two bright, attractive bedrooms. Master bedroom with double bed, reading lamps on bedside cabinets, with mirror.
Bedroom two has twin beds, chest of drawers and bedside lamp with mirror over. Both bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes and there is space for a cot in either room. Bed linen is included.
Bathroom with bath and shower-over, WC and vanity unit.
Very attractive, fully enclosed, secluded, south facing paved patio garden with furniture and built-in BBQ. Fragrant shrubs border the patio.

Braunton village has many shops and a wide variety of pubs and restaurants plus a tourist information centre, all within easy level walking distance. Banks and takeaways are also readily available.
Beautiful beaches, the nearest being the stunning expanse of Saunton Sands only 2 miles away, with Croyde, Woolacombe, Putsborough and Crow Point only a short drive. Saunton Sands is ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kite boarding or just relaxing.
The Tarka Trail, ideal for walking or cycling, is just around the corner.
Barnstaple, the county town of North Devon, is only 5 miles away.
Saunton Golf Course boasts of two 18-hole golf links, one a championship course, again only 2 miles away. E&OE |
